Training Tools We use

Flat collar

Most dogs wear these. It's your basic buckle collar. These should be fitted properly to provide clear communication. "High and tight" meaning high up on your dogs neck and able to fit 2 fingers under. These are meant for dogs who are already trained.

Martingale

These look like flat collars but are able to tighten and loosen. These are meant for dogs who understand how to turn pressure on and off. Along with dogs who know how to walk loosely on a leash.

Slip lead

An adjustable leash and collar in one. This is a great training tool when fitted properly, right behind the dogs ears and tight enough to where you can fit 2 fingers under. Dogs lead with their heads, not their chest. This helps to teach dogs how to understand pressure.

Herm Sprenger Prong Collar

Prong collars come in a wide variety, but we only use herm sprenger. It has a plate in the middle, which protects your dogs trachea and distributes even pressure. For some dogs, they will still pull through a slip lead, so a prong can be conditioned when fitted properly. Prong collars mimic the teeth on dogs. When providing a correction, it's a communication they genetically understand. Only use these after your trainer has informed you how to use one properly.

Mini Educator E-Collar

We use mini educator e-collars, which are mini tens units, for off leash obedience. It's an amazing tool when used and conditioned correctly. They can communicate with your dog within a 1/2 mile range and are waterproof. Can your dog hear your voice up to half a mile? Most likely not. Not all are created the same. Mini educator has 100 settings and most dogs work around level 10-15. An e-collar itself does not train dogs, they are a training tool. Providing more freedom while keeping your dog sa
